Lookin' good Hammer.
Stopped by the shop and saw Dave on Saturday and got a look at Hoochs' tank. That dipping is impressive. Dave did a piece while I was there so I got a look at the process. Seems Dave has it down pat.

Finally got the Beasty all back together :)
Go to crank it up----Pooooof.... WTF?????

Positive terminal burns off the battery !!!! Holy crap  The terminal is toast and collapses into the battery.
Never seen nothing like that before
Now it is 3 pm on Friday of the May 24 weekend, get on the phone, CanadaBattery has one in stock and charged up to go. :)
Had to grind the terminal bolt off with the die grinder to take the cable off.
4:30, and engine running ---Yeah Haw!!!!

Burnt $14.75 worth of gas through the injectors and ran 114.5 kms

Damn it`s good to be back on 2 wheels :)

Bad corrosion on the terminal, caused over-heating when cranking the starter.

My bad for lack of maintinance on the battery
