Hey Cat, what tire pressures ya running on yer 1300? I'm not convinced that Tee needs 40 psi like my 1800 (I run 40 back 38 front)

Okillee dokillee - think I'll put her at 38 just to keep things a bit smoother - she doesn't ride *hard* so no need to jack em right up me thinks.

and yeah, I thought it appropriate LOL

Not sure about the 1300, Rob, but I know that when mine was running at 36, I got cupping...something to consider. Not sure why you'd wanna run low pressure.

I've always heard that it is best to run the pressure that is stated on the tire itself. :)

I wasn't thinking of 38psi as low for a 1300 with next to no luggage load etc

Personal experience with my tires has been to run at 36 in the front.
If it starts Cupping, jack it up a couple of lbs.
if I`m going on a spirited run, I jack it to 40lbs as it handles better
and tire wears evenly.
Been averaging 19 to 21 thousand on front tire before replacing.

Just my 2 cents worth. :)
Hammer It. Life`s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserve skin....
but to skid in sideways, totally wornout ,shouting
HOLY SHIT.. What A RIDE ! !
