Shifting problem

So returning from POW/MIA meet in Helena pull out from gas stop shift up once, that was it shifter will not return for next up shift, down shift is fine but can only shift up once.
Return spring?.?
How to fix?
Any one else have this problem?

Yup, common problem. It's just the shifter pivot. Same happened to me & many, many others. Just lube up the pivot and it'll be normal again. I used some Molypaste but I imagine any decent grease will pretty much do. I now do this as part of my pre-season "get-ready" routine.

Yup, happened to me down in Utah (read dusty and sandy areas)

White lithium 9 years ago and just getting to needing again now so no need to use the $$$$ moly paste - save it for the rear end

Okay, that didn't come out right lmfao

and we still haven't seen the new ride!!!!

Nice again you all are right, might have been a hint when you shift the linkage squeak :think:
Pulled back the rubber cleaned with wd40 tried to force in as much moly past as I could no more squeak.
It sure how much I got in hope it's enough
