Just received a call from Heather informing me that Steve passed away last night.

He was having treatment for his problems & had been feeling not good for the last two weeks. He was taken to hospital yesterday and had a massive heart attack last night.

The only info I have right now is that there is a visitation, July 16th (this Thurs.) from 7-9 PM at the Marlatt Funeral Home & Cremation Centre in Dundas. 905-627-7452

As soon as I have any further info. I will post.

Dave

I am having a hard time believing this is real but I know it is. We lost an amazing person and he will be missed by so many people. Every time I see"coon eyes" from sunglassed riders, I think of Steve and always will. I will miss his humor, his tech tips, his spring rides and riding with him! :( :( :( RIP Steve....

God damn it anyway - fine gentleman and a hard rider - first time I met him was when he showed up at my place in Victoria - rode out here to see old friends etc and took the time to drop in and meet with me. Well of course we had to go for a ride ... and a beer ;)

Said it elsewhere and I'll say it here

Godspeed Steve - hope I get to go to the same place you are so we can tip a pint and ride again

Damn it!
