Steve Hillary 1955 - 2015

Missed, but never forgotten.
Dedicated to all those that we have rode and partied with who have since departed .
Rejoice that they were and still are a part of this family we call the Canadian X Riders.

Got a note that Steve passed away on the weekend. He was a good man that helped me out when I was in a bind with my old house long ago. He came and fixed a bunch of oil plumbing for me for next to nothing. I will stop by on Thursday to pay my respects. You could always count on him showing up with a raccoon tan and a smile.

Regards,
Jeremy

The funeral home is at 195 King St. W. in Dundas. Hammer, Liz & I will be meeting up with Dave & Joyce at 4ish at the Winchester Arms pub at 120 King St. W. If anyone else wants to come early, we'll see ya there.

Eric, Rob, and I will be riding out.
Leaving my place between 3:30 - 4:00, with 80-K tailgunning in her Jeep.

Planned route of travel. About 1-1/4 hrs easy ride.

As others have already said,... he was one o' the "great ones". Always ready with a friendly comment, helpful tip, or just a positive attitude. This news was a shock to me as well... I considered him a friend, even if I hadn't spent a lot of time with him. We all knew him as a dedicated rider, and contributor to this group. Rest in Peace, Buddy. Our deepest condolences to his family and his good friends.

So sad to hear this news, lots of good memories of the times we were able to connect. Steve will be missed by friends and family. Lynn and I will be trying to make the visitation on Thursday night after work. Condolences to all of his family.

I am saddened to hear of Steve's passing. It's been some time now but last we met was a chance encounter down at a well known Port Dover watering hole. Steve passed me in a dark hallway but immediately recognized me before my eyes could adjust...... his smile and unique facial tan glowed. Everyone was his friend. His enthusiasm was infectious. He was one of the good guys.

You will be missed friend........

Just wanted to share with those who could not be there that Steve's family remarked how much Steve loved the X Riders and how impressed they were that so many riders (not just X Riders) came out to pay there respects. He was well liked for sure.
