5th ANNUAL GEORGIAN BAY THUNDER RIDE - July 12,13,14

Ok, seems like yesterday when we had our first ride, This year is changed somewhat & getting bigger & longer.

The event is taking place in Little Lake Park Midland (just behind the parking lot of last year)

It is now a 3 day event

July 12, 13, 14. - NO RAIN

There is app. 20 camping spots available so first come first serve.

Friday night - camping - music - REFRESHMENT TENT - BEER (for the first time)

Saturday ride - Starts at 11:00 AM & a new 120k route throughout the area.

Saturday night - Vendors, band, prizes, beer tent & much more.

Sunday morning - 10:00 am ride (casual) - from Little Lake Park

Will be our first Thunder Run this year! Should be a blast with really good ppl. Lots of riding this year...so many places we hope to get to.

Some updates on the ride:

Don't forget that this is now a 3 day event.

If any of you need a motel. Our host one is Super 8 in Midland. Reduced rates for the event & no worry's about drinking & driving. THis is the same place where the " WAUBLE " is being held.

Fri Evening - food/band/FUN

Sat - more venders/breakfast offered (cash only) the ride/
- bike games - food/booze - and LARGE BAND

Sun - senic tour ride hitting the highlights of the area!

Will need some of the X-Riders as outriders again - This year on our way back to the park after the Sat ride, we are COMING RIGHT UP THE MAIN STREET IN MIDLAND - Lets show the folks what bikes are all about.

Police escorted all the way again. Hammer loves it - HE CAN GO FAST!
