'Steve Hillary Memorial Ride' Date: July 17th WEEKEND

Post by Big Dave »

Ok this is tentative while I firm up hotels etc.

We are looking at a weekend event. This is for people that can make it for the whole weekend or just the ride on July 18th (Saturday)

It will be in the Bobcaygeon area that all should be able to make either for the ride or the 2 or three days.

The meetup for the ride will be at the Esso in Waubaushene on the Saturday morning of the 18th & heading over to Bobcaygeon for a break for lunch & picking up anyone else to continue the ride. The hotel that I hope to get has BBQ's & nice tables right by the waters edge. Steve loved this place.
FYI - The ride from Waub to Bobcaygeon is about 1 - 1/2 hours & the continuing ride would be about another hour +/- back to Bobcaygeon.
Also pontoon boats available to rent! PARTY TIME !

We pushed the date forward a week since Baconfest is on the weekend before in Lucan.

Give it some thoughts & comments.

The other possibility is July 3rd weekend. Since Wasaga Beach rally is on the 17th.

I know Steve would tell us not to endanger ourselves, kick back , hoist a cold one to him and next year is another time.
We will ride again to celibrate our great riding buddy, how ever , we going to wait `til we get the ok from Gov. sources ( buncha friken retards). Heck, we had beers I Big Daves garage for 2 years ! Daniel and I plan on runnin up to WashingMachine to have a couple of cold ones, despite the Covid 19.
We are X riders and will do as we please, to hell with convention.
That`s my opinion, and will do whatever the heck I please.
