First of all I'm 50 years old, I started riding about five
years ago. I started with a Honda CB450 purchased from Honda Centre in
Vancouver. I didn't have a license when I bought the CB450 so I had
to get my learners and find someone to ride with, as I didn't know anybody that
rode. I answered an ad for a ride buddy in the Buy & Sell, and paid
$25/hr for
someone to ride with me. Took me three months, then I got my license
and bought a Honda CB750, rode that one for another year, then I bought a 1982
V45 Sabre, rode that bike for 2 years then I traded in the Sabre & CB450 and
bought a 1998 Honda ACE 750 the year before last. And the need for
more power finally got me! So I traded in the ACE and bought myself a
VTX1300s, metallic silver. I pick the bike up on April 1, 2004
(can't wait!).
Seeing as how we do not know many people with motorcycles, we were thinking of
joining a club and came across yours. We'd like to meet new people who
share our love to ride.
I live in North Vancouver with my girlfriend, Edie (also can't wait until April
1st!).
Will send a picture of the VTX when a get a chance to visit it on the weekend.
