I'm the proud owner of the mighty black VTXc, serial #146, purchased on the 7th of July 2001.  Started out with a 150cc Scoot, way back in the olden days, when I was a kid in the 50's, then an 1100GL aspencade, plus a 1500GL SE, prior to the mighty X.  My Joe Rocket riding apparel, plus the V&H pipes earned me the handle "joeracket".

 Trip to Alberta last year.  Saskrivcross, popular bike destination on the Banf-Jasper Hwy.  Found a great little biker pub in Ferintosh, Alta., owner Paul checking out our rides, finally decides that the vtx is still #1.  biker buddy Gerry from Red Deer on the red-wing.
