Finally got another bike after a forced
hiaitus from the two wheeled world (arthritis) that lasted a lonnnng five
years. Decided that after that long break buying "my" bike rather
than just buying "A" bike was in order. Xcalibur was born and joined
the family on May 05, 2004 and is proving to be the sweetest ride I have ever
owned. Everybody hears about the old bugger down the road with the classic
bike under a blanket that he'll never get rid of even though he can't ride
anymore. This is mine :0) There will likely be a wing in the g'rage down
the road when my wife Teresa and I have more time and $ for the long trips but
this one is getting built and will stay in my hands till the day they plant
me.
So far just the MS screen, Iso grips for
the paws, and Honda bacrest and rack have been added - This winter's
plans? Corbin trim tab, corbin solo seat, L&R forwards fer the boards, Cut
an inch outta the shocks, progressives for the front, V&H pipes or stock
VTXC pipe modded?, and possibly some less intrusive signals out back
(Why DO they make them so large and fugly anyway? ;0).
She'll receive some paint when budget
allows - Dragons and Swords and Merlin and of course the obligatory Knights
helmet ;0)
Ride safe people and we'll see
you at the pub when the day's riding is done, Rob
